This was a great stash buster for 2 skeins of hand-spun i bought at the C-U Spinners and Weaver Guild and 2 50g balls of Sulka Marino/Alpaca/Silk. No pattern, I knit it on US8 straight needles in seed stitch and bound it off on the bias edge with picked up stitches. Easy peasy caplet! Measures approx 11” wide, perfect to keep your shoulders and upper back warm.
I am knitting the Sorrel sweater by Wool and Pine. The yarn is Araucanian Hausa Sock held double with kidsilk haze. I love it!! - Susan Elmore

I’m using my time to finish up several projects that were put to the side in my excitement of every new skein I bought. Today I completed the Holey Scarf by Schoppel-Wolle in Crazy Zauberball cotton. I love this free pattern and definitely increased my casting on/off skills. Now time to block! - SallyAnn Wolanczyk
Stash and Storage
Can you have too much, how do you organize? Now might be a great time to tackle your personal “yarn shop!” Show us what you got.
I've been very busy since we confined ourselves to our house more than a week ago. This coincided with the delivery of some new furniture. So I've been sorting through boxes and boxes of yarn. This has unearthed many skeins of the yarn I just had to have. For example. I have a drawer full of silk and silk bends and 1 drawer of mohair and silk! - Marilyn Kell
I’ve turned a square closet in a spare bedroom into a mini “yarn store.” I bought a configurable storage unit on Amazon (super easy to put together; in this case I left the doors off). Bunge cords hold some unwound skeins along the sides for easy viewing and space. I added a couple of shoe organizers I had to hold tools and odds/ends.
no really this is much more organized than this appears! ;-) Don’t ask me what my sort order is… I think it’s by weight. -SallyAnn Wolanczyk
